About the Clinic
Sixteen years in the making
Over the past sixteen years, my knowledge and experience in facial aesthetics has grown exponentially and it was as a direct result of my popularity and excellent reputation that I made the decision to open Aesthetics By Stephanie. With great excitement, Stuart and I (with a little help from the kids!) built a custom treatment room in our home and it was then, in March 2019, that the clinic was formed.
After six wonderful years, and thanks to the incredible support of our patients, the clinic has grown to the point where we felt the time was right to take the next exciting step. Our team has expanded to include Nurse Carrie and Dr Yasmin, and in 2026 we moved to our brand new dedicated clinic space at Unit 1 Bloom Farm, Main Street, Livingston Village and with that move came a fresh new identity. Welcome to Quiet Aesthetics.
Since then, we have strived to offer a bespoke facial aesthetics service to the men and women of West Lothian and beyond, where you can be assured of a discrete and professional service, providing advice and medically qualified facial aesthetics treatments of the highest quality. We want every patient to feel relaxed and comfortable during their visit. All appointments are on a one-to-one basis, with a full consultation being carried out before every procedure to ensure our patients understand completely what treatments they are receiving.

FOUNDER · LEAD AESTHETIC PRACTITIONER
I qualified as a dentist from the University of Glasgow in 2002 and spent years working across both NHS and private practice, always drawn to the artistic side of what I did. In 2007 I trained in injectable facial aesthetics and quickly realised this was where my real passion lay. By 2021 I had stepped away from dentistry entirely to focus on aesthetics full time.
Sixteen years later, what started as a treatment room built in our home has become Quiet Aesthetics, a dedicated clinic with a team I am genuinely proud of. My approach has never changed though. Every patient gets a full consultation, every treatment plan is bespoke, and I will only ever recommend what I truly believe is in your best interest.
As a registered medical professional I am fully qualified to diagnose and treat any complications that may arise, and as a HIS regulated clinic you can be assured that our standards are inspected and consistently high.

I spent sixteen years as a Senior Consultant and the last four as Director of my own business, Simplayfi. Being the family resident tech obsessive, I somehow became the person responsible for the clinic website, CRM, and anything else that needed a spreadsheet or a late night. What started as a couple of hours a week quickly took over most of it.
When we made the move to Quiet Aesthetics I made the decision to commit fully. You will find me here at the clinic every day, working on the things that let Steph and the team focus entirely on patients. Building something we are both genuinely proud of is not a bad way to spend your time.

I have spent most of my career caring for people in one way or another, starting out as a dental nurse before moving into oral health education with NHS Lothian and eventually completing my adult nursing degree at UWS. Qualifying was one of the proudest moments of my life and joining the Quiet Aesthetics team not long after made it even better.
Skincare is my genuine passion. I love the science behind it, I love seeing the results, and I will happily talk about it for longer than you probably want me to. My approach is always calm, always honest, and always focused on what is actually going to work for your skin. When I am not at the clinic you will find me with my son Lochlan or causing chaos on TikTok.

I qualified from the University of Dundee and built my career on a foundation of clinical precision and genuine care for patients. Aesthetics drew me in because it sits at the intersection of medicine and artistry, getting the balance right between the two is what I find most rewarding.
My approach is detail focused and considered. I take time to understand what each patient actually wants and I am just as happy to say a treatment is not right for someone as I am to carry it out. Joining Quiet Aesthetics felt like the right fit from the start. The ethos here matches exactly how I believe this work should be done.
