THE TREATMENT
The Facial That Actually Works.
The Hydrofacial is a multi-step skin treatment that combines deep cleansing, exfoliation and hydration in a single appointment. Using a specialised mechanised wand, the treatment works to remove dead skin cells and congestion from the surface while simultaneously delivering hydrating serums tailored to your skin type and concerns.
Unlike a standard facial, the Hydrofacial uses a vortex suction system to draw out impurities from the pores while infusing the skin with active botanical ingredients, leaving the complexion noticeably cleaner, clearer and more radiant from the moment treatment ends.
Who is Suitable
It is suitable for all skin types and can be adapted to address a range of concerns including dehydration, dryness, congestion, mild acne and dullness. There is no downtime and results are immediate.
How it works
Cleanse. Exfoliate. Hydrate.
The Hydrofacial works in three stages, each building on the last to deliver a complete skin treatment in a single appointment. The skin is first cleansed and lightly exfoliated to loosen dead skin cells and surface congestion. A vortex suction system then draws out impurities from the pores while simultaneously delivering hydrating serums into the skin. Finally, a tailored blend of antioxidants and peptides is infused to nourish, protect and leave the complexion visibly refreshed.
What to Expect
Aftercare
The Hydrofacial requires no downtime and results are immediate. Your skin may feel more sensitive than usual for the first 24 hours, so a few simple steps will help protect your results.
Immediately After Treatment
Your skin may appear slightly flushed immediately after treatment. This is normal and settles quickly. Avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily and keep the skin clean and cool.
First 24 Hours
Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Do not apply makeup for at least 4 hours after treatment. Avoid retinol during this time.
Ongoing Care
Regular Hydrofacial appointments every 4 to 6 weeks will maintain and build on your results. Continue with a gentle daily SPF to protect the skin between appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions Answered
How long do results last?
Results typically last between 4 and 6 weeks, though this varies from person to person. Regular appointments help to maintain and build on your results over time.
Is the Hydrofacial suitable for all skin types?
Yes. The Hydrofacial is suitable for all skin types and can be adapted to address a range of concerns including dehydration, congestion, mild acne and dullness. We will assess your skin at your appointment and tailor the treatment accordingly.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are rare. In some cases patients may experience temporary redness, a mild heat sensation, or slight sensitivity after treatment. These are short-lived and not permanent. Contact the clinic if you have any concerns after your appointment.
Can I have a Hydrofacial if I am pregnant?
Please let us know before booking if you are pregnant. Some of the serums used during treatment, including those containing salicylic acid, have not been fully tested during pregnancy. We will advise on the most appropriate option for you.
How often should I have a Hydrofacial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended for most patients to maintain healthy, clear skin.
What is the difference between a Hydrofacial and a regular facial?
A standard facial relies on manual extraction and product application. The Hydrofacial uses a mechanised vortex system to simultaneously remove impurities and infuse serums, delivering more consistent and immediate results with no manual discomfort.
Is a Hydrofacial good for acne?
The Hydrofacial can help with mild acne and congestion by deeply cleansing the pores and removing surface impurities. It is not recommended for those with active moderate to severe acne or rosacea.
