THE TREATMENT
Natural Volume.
Beautiful Shape.
Lip filler at Quiet Aesthetics uses hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body that diminishes with age. When injected, it restores hydration, volume and definition to the lips in a way that feels and looks natural. Results are gradual, reversible and entirely tailored to your anatomy and goals.
We use the Teoxane RHA range, Europe’s leading dermal filler. RHA 2 suits mature lips seeking hydration and softness. RHA 3 delivers more definition and projection. Both contain lidocaine for a more comfortable experience during treatment.
Who is Suitable
Suitable candidates are generally 18 or over in good general health. Those with active cold sores or broken skin around the mouth should wait until fully healed before treatment. Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding are not suitable.
Consultation
We discuss your goals, assess your lip anatomy and recommend the most appropriate volume and product for a natural, balanced result. There is never any pressure to proceed.
How it works
Enhance. Define. Hydrate.
Lip filler at Quiet Aesthetics uses hyaluronic acid, a substance your body produces naturally but in decreasing quantities with age. When injected with precision into the lips, it restores volume, improves definition and enhances hydration in a way that moves and feels natural. We use the Teoxane RHA range, which is specifically designed to adapt to dynamic facial movement, ensuring results that complement rather than overpower. Treatment takes around 40 minutes and results typically last 9 to 12 months.

What to Expect
Aftercare
Dermal filler treatments require minimal downtime. You can return to your normal day the same day, with a few simple guidelines to follow in the first 24 to 48 hours.
Immediately After Treatment
Some swelling, tenderness and bruising around the lips is normal immediately after treatment and is not a cause for concern. Avoid touching or pressing the treated area. Do not apply makeup for at least 4 hours following your appointment.
First 24 - 48 Hours
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and alcohol for the first 24 hours as these can increase swelling and affect healing.
First 2 Weeks
Avoid any other facial treatments including massage, microneedling or laser for at least 2 weeks following treatment. Apply SPF daily to protect the treated area.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions Answered
How long do lip fillers last?
Results typically last 9 to 12 months, though this varies depending on the individual, the product used and how quickly your body metabolises hyaluronic acid. Regular maintenance appointments help sustain the result.
Will my lips look natural?
Our approach is always to enhance rather than overstate. We work with your natural lip shape and anatomy to achieve a result that looks balanced and proportionate, whether you are looking for subtle hydration or more visible volume.
How long will swelling last?
Most swelling occurs in the first 24 to 48 hours and then settles gradually. Some patients experience very little, while others may notice more pronounced swelling for a few days. Results should be assessed after 2 weeks once everything has fully settled.
Is the treatment painful?
Numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimise discomfort. As Steph and Yasmin are also qualified dentists, a dental block can be offered for patients who require more complete numbing, though you will be numb for several hours afterwards.
I have a cold sore. Can I still have treatment?
No. Treatment must be postponed until the cold sore has completely healed and there is no scab or broken skin present. If you are prone to cold sores, please let us know before your appointment.
Can lip filler be dissolved?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be safely dissolved using hyaluronidase if clinically indicated. This gives complete peace of mind that the treatment is entirely reversible.
