As skin ages, collagen and elastin naturally decline, leading to fine lines, sagging and a loss of definition along the jawline and neck. Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to work beneath the surface, remodelling the deeper layers of the skin and stimulating new collagen production.
Unlike surface only treatments, Morpheus8 reaches into the dermis and subdermal tissue, tightening connective fibres while smoothing texture, refining pores and softening the appearance of acne scarring. The treatment depth and energy are fully customised to your skin and concerns at every session.
Results build gradually as your own collagen production continues over the following months. Many people notice an initial improvement within days, with the most visible changes appearing from around three weeks and continuing to develop for up to three months after treatment.
Who is Suitable
Morpheus8 is suitable for most adults concerned about fine lines, skin laxity, acne scarring or uneven texture on the face and neck. Thanks to its colour blind technology, it is considered safe for all skin types and tones, including darker skin.
Morpheus8 is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with active skin infections, open wounds or certain photosensitive conditions in the treatment area. Full suitability, including your recommended depth and energy settings, is confirmed at your consultation.

Healing Process
Immediately after treatment, expect some redness and mild swelling, similar to a light sunburn. Tiny micro lesions may appear over the following few days as part of the skin’s natural healing response, before settling completely.
Minimal Downtime
Most patients return to normal activities straight away, with makeup usually wearable again from 48 hours. Redness typically fades within 24 to 72 hours, though published studies report up to seven days in some people. Tiny crusts at each needle site are a recognised part of healing and lift on their own over the following week or so. Swelling is more variable

How many sessions will I need?
Most patients are recommended a course of three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Some improvement is often visible after just one appointment, but results build cumulatively, so a full course gives the best and longest lasting outcome.
Does Morpheus8 hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied before every treatment. Most people describe a warm, prickling sensation rather than pain, and any discomfort is generally mild and manageable throughout.
What does recovery look like?
Expect redness and mild swelling immediately after treatment, similar to a light sunburn. Redness typically settles within 24 to 72 hours. Tiny crusts appear at each needle site over the following few days and lift on their own, usually within a week. Swelling is the most variable part and can last longer. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Is Morpheus8 suitable for all skin types?
Morpheus8 is suitable across all skin types and tones. The insulated needles deliver energy beneath the surface rather than through it, which is why the pigmentation risk is much lower than with older resurfacing lasers. Lower is not none, so if your skin is Fitzpatrick IV or above we will plan lower energy and take more care over depth, and we will talk it through properly at your consultation.
Is Morpheus8 suitable for everyone?
Morpheus8 is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with active skin infections, open wounds or certain photosensitive conditions in the treatment area. It is also unsuitable if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or any electronic implant anywhere in the body, metal plates, screws or piercings in the treatment area, or if you have taken isotretinoin in the past six months. Tell us if you get cold sores, scar easily or have a history of keloids. Full suitability is confirmed at your consultation.
Can Morpheus8 be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Morpheus8 can be performed alongside or a few days apart from other treatments, and is often combined with Forma for enhanced skin tightening, or with injectables for more comprehensive results. Your practitioner will advise what’s right for you at consultation.
Why is Morpheus8 always Face and Neck, rather than Face alone?
We treat the face and neck together because the two areas age together, and combining them gives more even, natural looking results. It also allows for better contouring along the jawline where the two areas meet.
