Viscoderm Hydrobooster uses a stabilised, ultrapure cross-linked hyaluronic acid that is injected into the skin across dynamic areas of the face. Unlike standard skin boosters, it has a dual function hydrostretch action that both hydrates deeply and gently restructures the tissue, naturally smoothing superficial wrinkles in areas of facial movement such as around the eyes, mouth and forehead.
By enhancing dermal hydration levels, the skin’s elasticity improves, reducing the appearance of existing wrinkles and preventing new ones from forming. The result is plumper, firmer, more radiant skin with a visibly smoother surface. Most patients notice an immediate improvement, with optimal results appearing 6 to 8 weeks after treatment.
A course of 2 appointments spaced 8 weeks apart is recommended. Results last around 6 months, after which a maintenance appointment is advised. Viscoderm Hydrobooster can also be used on the neck and décolleté.
Who is Suitable
Viscoderm Hydrobooster is suitable for adults who want to improve skin hydration, elasticity and radiance, particularly those with fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and forehead. It is a good option for patients who have forehead wrinkles but are not suitable for wrinkle relaxing injections.
Viscoderm Hydrobooster is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What to Expect
Aftercare
Viscoderm Hydrobooster requires minimal downtime and most patients return to their normal day immediately. There are a few simple guidelines to follow
Immediately After Treatment
Some redness and tenderness at the injection sites is normal immediately after treatment and typically settles within a few hours. Avoid touching the treated area and do not apply makeup for at least 12 hours.
First 24 Hours
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and alcohol for 24 hours after your appointment.
First Two Weeks
Avoid other facial treatments including massage, microneedling or laser for at least two weeks. Results will continue to improve over the following weeks as the hydrostretch action takes full effect.
