The ZO Ossential Stimulator Peel, known as the Red Carpet Peel, is a medical-grade superficial peel developed by renowned dermatologist Dr Zein Obagi. Using a combination of salicylic, lactic and citric acids, it gently exfoliates the upper layers of the skin to stimulate natural cellular turnover, instantly improving tone, texture and radiance.
The treatment is quick, comfortable and requires no downtime. There is no peeling or visible redness afterwards — just clearer, brighter, more refined skin from the moment you walk out. It can be performed in around 30 minutes, making it a popular choice before a special occasion or event.
Who is Suitable
The ZO Red Carpet Peel is suitable for most skin types. It is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or for those with an allergy to aspirin, eczema, psoriasis or any active inflammatory skin condition. Avoid retinoids for 3 days before treatment.
How it works

The ZO Red Carpet Peel is a three-step in-clinic treatment. The skin is first cleansed and prepared before the peel solution — a blend of salicylic, lactic and citric acids — is applied and left to work for a short period. You may feel a mild warming sensation while the peel is active. This is normal and subsides once the solution is neutralised and removed.
A mask suited to your skin concerns is then applied to calm and nourish the skin, followed by antioxidant-rich ZO products and SPF to finish. The full treatment takes around 30 minutes with no downtime afterwards.

The ZO Red Carpet Peel requires no downtime and results are immediate.
Immediately After Treatment
Your skin may feel slightly warm and tight immediately after treatment. This is normal and settles within a few hours. Avoid touching the treated area and do not apply makeup for at least 4 hours.
First 48 Hours
Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 48 hours. Do not use retinol, AHAs or BHAs during this time. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Avoid waxing, exfoliating scrubs and abrasive products for 48 hours.

Yes. With no downtime or visible redness it is an ideal pre-event treatment. We recommend booking at least 3 days before your event to allow the skin to fully settle.
