Skin Concerns
Acne and Oily Skin
Breakouts, congestion and excess oil can affect confidence and skin comfort at any age. We take a clinical approach — targeting the underlying drivers, not just the surface.
UNDERSTANDING THE CONCERN
What is Acne and Oily Skin?
Acne is one of the most common skin conditions, affecting people of all ages — not just teenagers. It develops when excess oil (sebum) becomes trapped within the pores, providing an environment for bacteria to thrive. When sebum mixes with dead skin cells, inflammatory changes occur and breakouts appear as spots, pimples, cysts or congestion.
The reasons behind acne are rarely straightforward. Hormonal fluctuations, genetics, stress and diet all play a role, which is why the same skincare routine can produce very different results from one person to the next. For many people, acne also has a significant emotional impact — affecting confidence and daily life well beyond the physical symptoms.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Skin that breaks out regularly, whatever you try
Congestion and blocked pores that never fully clear
Oily skin that feels out of control by midday
Inflamed or painful blemishes under the skin
Skin that reacts to almost every product you use
Acne that has improved but never fully gone away
